Gribble "Magic Fingers" Player Action
By Harvey Roehl

I acquired one of these quite a few years ago, and it was such a
piece of junk that I just threw it into the attic. Recently while
housecleaning I came across it and it was still a piece of junk!

I speculate as follows: The Gribble Music Company or whoever was behind
it designed a machine that would, indeed, work. Then they set up shop
in a garage and hired some winos off the street, showed them the sample
and said 'build some!'

It has always been a mystery to me how what was produced could ever be
marketed, if the example I had is any indication.
