Source of Spruce Wood
By Don Teach

One of the sources for spruce wood for pipe organ builders, and
a source of Sitka spruce for soundboards, is Northwest Specialty Woods
(formerly Posey Manufacturing). I know one organ builder that gets
all he needs from the trash pile out back. The rest of us have to
phone them at 360-482-6724 and buy what we need. Frank Johnson is
the general manager. They also have other woods for sale.
