Andy, Here's the information I collected when I was shopping for
a small organ.
1. Alan Pell in England builds a variety of sizes. I've never
found a web site for him, but Angelo Rulli is the North American
distributor and he does have a web site.

2. Ragtime Automated Music in California has one model. Check their
web site.

3. Robert Hopp in Europe built several sizes of organs with a very
unique tone. I haven't seen or heard anything from him for a while,
and his web site is "under construction."

Jaeger & Brommer, in Germany, build a lot of organs. They have a web
site, and you can get information for North America from Ron Bopp
(an MMD author, no web site).

Le Ludion in France builds several types of organs. They have a
web site and distribute in North America through Angelo Rulli.
[ http;//www.leludion.com/ ]
OGM builds one model of electronic monkey organ. I think they are
still building a few more. Access is through Galen Bird's web site.

Raffin in Germany builds a variety of organs. I don't know of a
web site, but the US distributor is Hal O'Rourke, who is probably
on the MMD Author list.

Lark in the Morning in California sells a couple of sizes of
small organs. They have a web site.

Verbeeck and Struber are two other European organ builders. I've never
found web sites or US sales agents for either one.
Most of these places cannot give you an exact price, because the organs
are custom-built with your choice of options, but they can give you a
range of prices.
I think all of these web sites are on the MMD links page. The only
one I don't remember seeing there is Lark in the Morning. If I was on
a real computer, I would have pasted in the URL's for you, but that is
not so easy on WebTV.
[ I found 'em and pasted 'em for you, Tom! -- Robbie ]
Contemporary used organs are often available; check Galen Bird's Bird
Music site and Joyce Brite's Mechanical Music Exchange web site.
[ http://mmd.foxtail.com/Exchange/ ] Sometimes, you just have to tell
the right people what you are looking for and then patiently wait for
it to show up at the right price. That's how I ended up getting mine!
Just a suggestion, but in a museum situation, you should seriously
consider one in a clear case, like Ron Bopp has (see the pictures in
the MMD Archives or on my web page). It is nice to be able to show
exactly how everything works.
I hope this information is useful.
