Rebuilding My Player Piano Myself
By Tom Dawson

Happy New Year to All ! I want to thank Denny Thomas for the kind words
[991226 MMD] but I do want to point out that the credit for his success
goes to him. A Schultz action is really not for a beginner, but he has
done a fantastic job.

I am still not sure that player restorations are for just everyone
to do. Not every one is as patient and detail oriented as Denny. When
I impressed on him "neatness really counts" he followed that advice to
the letter. He also had the patience to tear something apart and do it
over instead of just leaving what might be good enough.

Now, Denny, I have pianos waiting in line to restore -- Want some more
work?

Tom Dawson
