Tom Steuer: Here's a couple of choices for cross country piano moving.

Cross country mover: Gene Sandberg owns his own rig and has moved
several pianos for me.  He drops at your door and you have to get your
instrument upstairs.  818-896-8537.  $600 for Chicago to Los Angeles
move.  Chicago number for messages is 847-455-7800.

Keyboard carriage: John Thomas in Elizabethtown, KY, tel: 502 737-5797.
$700 door to door, $600 to warehouse in Mira Loma, CA, for an upright
player.
