Music - The Signal to Chatter
By Bruce Clark

For many years I have had the desire to attend Radio City Music Hall
see the Christmas show, and hear the mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ.

This dream came true last week. The show was great, but when the duo-
organists seated at their consoles started to play it seemed to be the
signal for the musically illiterate clods to start talking loudly, and
start running for drinks and popcorn. I could not hear much of the
music at all, and was greatly disappointed.

Regretfully, respect for good music has deteriorated. No wonder
deafening rock presides -- the talkers haven't a chance! There is
a need for more music education (and respect for good music) in our
schools.
