Following up on Beatrice Robertson's and Bob Conant's comments on
the "Mr. Christmas" disc-playing music boxes.

Here in Victoria, Australia, I purchased a Mr Christmas "Holiday
Symphonium Music Box" in Woolworth's department store.  This seems
to be the only model available here.

The sixteen discs in this model are thin plastic.  The price about four
weeks ago was Aus$ 158.00, and now even before Christmas they are on
sale for approximately $40 less!

I would rather have paid extra and had a nicer case, and the sound of
about three of the discs is a little bit off.

After discovering there was another model, (through another helpful MMD
person) I wrote to Mr Christmas <spatel@mrchristmas.com> about the
chance of obtaining the other four discs , so the music could be played
all year round.  I received a reply with a lengthy list of regarding
stock lists, all in USA; however, no mention of the extra discs to date.

On the last page of my "Instruction Manual" it does say "Replacement
discs or discs up to sixteen are available from Mr Christmas for
$1.00 per disc plus $2.50 shipping and handling.  Call Mr Christmas
1-800-4MR-Xmas and be sure to mention which Music Box."  The web site
is http://www.mrchristmas.com/   This is different from the price Bob
has been given?
