In response to a recent comment about the 'see-through' Jaeger &
Brommer organ at the MBSI convention in Philadelphia, I think most
of the MMD readers know this, but in case they didn't, I am the U.S.
representative for Jaeger & Brommer and at times I carry some of their
organs in stock for demonstration and/or sale.
I currently have a 'see-through' 20-note belly organ in stock. The
list price for this type of organ, whether it be acrylic like this one,
or in a black inlay case or a burl walnut inlay case, is $5,400. These
organs weigh approximately 24 pounds and can be carried around the
neck. I even put a stick under one and that worked great also.
I have included a couple of photos, one of the current acrylic 20-note
organ and one of me playing a 20-note organ with inlay case. (I was
about 40 pounds heavier in the photo than I am now).
I do have product literature available as well as cassette tapes of the
20-note organ sound.
