From time to time I receive inquiries as to whether or not I can
provide information as to roll copying of performances set down by
family members. What is involved would be locating the rolls (if
the inquirer has none) or copying from rolls supplied by same.
I reproduce here an e-mail from such a person, and request that, if
interested, you contact her directly. The lady's name is Linda Lewis.
I've replied to her and she'll likely be accessing the MMD to see what
response she might get. However, if you can serve her needs, as I note
above, contact her at the e-mail given just above.
Finally, if your service is available generally (rather than just
a one-time oblige) it would be useful to know details.

I have just found your web site, Reproducing Piano Roll Foundation, and
am very excited! My family has some piano rolls that my grandmother
recorded -- Esther Marvin Cutchin. And some of her rolls are listed
in the Ampico catalog on your site!
I just got one of the rolls from my father, because I wanted to pursue
getting a recording made, as none of us have player pianos, and we
would love to be able to listen to my grandmother play! She died in
1962. The one I have with me is the Hungarian Dance No. 5, F Sharp
minor (Secondo part only), by Brahms. (My father has many more; I'll
have to find out which ones they are.)
It is listed in your catalog and on the box as played by Sturkow-Ryder,
but the rolls I have are signed by my grandmother. Maybe she played
the second part?
Anyway, I'm just starting down this path of research, and would
appreciate any direction, guidance or information that you could
give me. Perhaps we can contribute to your catalog! Thanks a lot.
If possible, please send any responses to <llewis@perriergroup.com>
and I'll get the e-mail more quickly.
