A slight correction of time tables for those planning to listen to
the performance of Ballet Mechanique at Lowell, Massachusetts, on
Nov 18 via WGBH Web Broadcast.
Peter Neilson, a ham radio operator and all-around good guy, has
adroitly pointed out to me that EST is only 5 hours behind GMT,
also known as UTC [Coordinated Universal Time]. My bad figure was
probably due to the fact that I did not know that there existed such
a thing as "British Summer Time", which is off an hour from the
unwavering GMT.

[ Note that in the USA 'S' indicates standard time, whereas in
[ Great Britain 'S' means "summer time", which we in the Colonies
[ call "daylight saving time". In a few days California will
[ change from Pacific Daylight Time (PDT = GMT +0700) to Pacific
[ Standard Time (PST = GMT +0800). This probably won't affect my
[ sleeping habits, though... <yawn> ;-) -- Robbie
