Organ Moving & Cable Connections
By Bob Conant

Dear MMDers, I have been interested in hearing the experiences
of those who moved organs (with the intent of reassembling them to
play again), but one topic has been left untouched.

Are there any good ways of disconnecting wires and cables that will
preserve the electrical connection information. I have seen a few
where it looked like the cables were separated with an ax but that
doesn't leave much clue to the connection. Someone who did this would
soon be asking for free information about how to reconnect the console
to the organ! Just curious as to what methods folks have come up with.

Thanks,
Bob Conant
