I would like to publicly apologize to Andy, Chris, and Ben Taylor
for saying in my last posting that they never acknowledged Ellen's
or my help, during the two days I spent teaching Andy how to rebuild
Standard valves in our home.
Since Andy reminded me of that, I have to backtrack and admit he's
right, and I was wrong. They very gratefully acknowledged it right
here on MMD, and I'm happy to remind everybody that they did so, too.
That sort of thing is, to my mind, a good example of being grateful,
and I don't care if it's at my own expense or not! The example they
set is worth it! Thanks, guys, for reminding me. I would have looked
up your postings, but didn't know where I would find it. I think,
frankly, that I have personally felt a little excluded, after reading
all the letters so far about free advice. Sorry! I tend to get a
little selfish sometimes, I think. I am embarrassed.
