Wurlitzer Gear Standard Lubrication
By Jack Niewoehner

I am working on one of these Wurlitzer gear standards and am wondering
what to put in it for lubrication. The Wurlitzer literature says to
"use only the best grade of light lubricating oil". What little oil
that is in there now seems a bit on the heavy side (probably a 90-
weight gear oil), and I am wondering if 30-weight oil would be
appropriate, or if it should be lighter than that.

Thanks,

Jack Niewoehner
