"Wizard of Oz" Piano Rolls
By Ed Sprankle

> We are looking in particular for "The Tick Tock Man of Oz", 1920's.

I'm a long long way from being an "Oz" expert, but "Tik Tok Man of Oz"
was the title of a theater musical for which Frank L. Baum gets the
lyricist and librettist credits. Isn't he also author of "The Wizard
..." from the same land?

Anyway, "Tik Tok Man of Oz" opened June 13, 1913. There are quite a few
roll medleys of Broadway shows of this era -- you just need to look
farther back in time for this one. But most important, "TiK Tok Man
of Oz" was the _title_ of the musical, and not a tune from it.
