The only Coinola instrument in my literature collection that has solo
flute pipes, xylophone, Indian block, triangle, cymbal, mandolin, tam-
bourine, bass and snare drums is the Coinola CO that was introduced in
the early 1920's. It was not on the 1919 price list but it is on the
1924 price list. *Does any one have a price list between those years?*
I have sent the MMD the images of two original Coinola CO's. One
of the CO's has stepped sides like the Reproduco and other one has
straight sides (non stepped) like a typical Coinola C model. I brought
a packet of Coinola CO literature to the office today to scan and send
MMD for those of you that may not be familiar with the different
Coinola's.
The previous images were offered to the MMD because they are in color
and have not been reproduced to my knowledge. My next images will be of
some of the black and white literature I have. Some of my literature
is framed on the walls of my music room and will not be scanned but
I hope to get a picture of them for the MMD.
Coinola pianos are represented in the Bowers book but not all the
models are shown. There were apparently several models made before the
1920's that were discontinued. Some models were made after the 1920's
but are just not in the literature that is normally found, but they can
be found in old ads in the Music Trades magazine.
