Ray Siou
By Dan Wilson, London

Robbie said of Ray Siou's family name, 'Ray's name is said like "sue",
or Old French "Sioux".'

This is less self-explanatory than it looks. I always say "Soo" for
both Sue (both the name and the legal action) and Sioux, but there are
many in the UK who'd say "S'yoo" for both. Would you like to start
again, please, Robbie ?

Dan Wilson, London

[ Sure! I'd guess that Ray's ancestors emigrated from China to Calif-
[ ornia well over 100 years ago, and I believe that the family name
[ in English-speaking lands is more commonly spelled "Tsu" or "Soo".
[ Does this Chinese name sound familiar? -- Robbie
