Paul Eakins' "Memory Lane Special"
By Art Reblitz

The "Memory Lane Special" included on Paul Eakins' Audio Fidelity
record, "Nickel Music", is not an original Coinola CO. It is a smaller
Coinola coin piano or orchestrion with a tall homemade case extension.

Compare the picture to the original CO in Harvey Roehl's "Player
Piano Treasury" or Dave Bowers' "Encyclopedia" and you'll see many
differences.

Art Reblitz

[ Brian Smith just sent us a slide transparency image sold at the
[ museums souvenir shop. The case extension is quite evident.
