A Player Piano Is Great During a Blackout
By Jim Canavan
Gabe's story really hit home for me. I too look forward to brief
blackouts, so I can light my Aladdin kerosene lamp, open the windows,
and amaze the neighbors with my player piano, as well as my antique
phonographs.
It really is amazing how far sound can carry when there are no TVs
and stereos -- you can even hear my organettes from quite far down
the block!
