Dear friends,  The following information is listed in an Ampico
Recording Artist Contract Book which covers, for Vincent Lopez,
the period from May 1928 through May 1929.  During this period Lopez
recorded the following selections on the following dates:

 Aug  3, 1928    Blue Grass
 Aug 16, 1928    In a Bamboo Garden
 Mar 12, 1929    Weary River
 Mar 12, 1929    Deep Night
 Apr  1, 1929    I Kiss Your Hand Madame
 Apr  1, 1929    You Were Meant For Me

During this time there were a total of 24 titles listed as being
recorded by Lopez.  The other 18 titles have no specific recording date.
It would be expected that these six were actually recorded by Lopez on
the dates listed.

The other recordings were probably recorded by others and were given a
final approval by Lopez.  His contract for the year (5/7/28 - 5/7/29)
states that he would record a total of two selections per month during
that period and he would get a royalty fee of 10% of the wholesale
selling price.
