Jack, I have no packaging material in my own collection, but I'll
share what I've seen and heard.
Nelson Pease, in a discussion about original label color, once
mentioned that he had received rolls still in their original paper
wrapping, unopened. I did not ask him about the type or method of that
wrap, but I'm sure he could tell us more, if you want more info.
Grand Roller Organ rollers, on the other hand, seem to have come in
cardboard sleeves. I've seen them, but not really examined one up
close. I don't recall any markings, but didn't examine closely enough.
But may I extend Jack's question(s) a bit? How were the organs
themselves packed and shipped?
