FS: Duo-Art Popular Rolls in CD Electronic Format
By Spencer Chase

I now have a CD of 108 popular Duo-Art rolls for sale. There is
a wide variety of music represented, from early one steps through
late fox-trots, show tunes, ballads, novelty pieces, etc. There is
something to please almost anyone.

The files are in both MIDI format, for use with any MIDI player
connected to an electronically controlled Duo-Art, and in BAR/ANN
format for use with WindPlay.

WindPlay can control electronically controlled pneumatic pianos as
well as provide simulation of the reproducing piano on sound cards
and solenoid pianos, such as the Disklavier, PianoDisc, etc.

The music is quite lively and plays well on a good sound card with
a good piano sound font loaded. I have had good results with the
Creative Labs "Sound Blaster Live" card (not the "Live Value" card).

The cost for the disk is $65 postpaid including e-mailing of any future
corrections that may be made. If ordered together with the Duo-Art
Classical CD ($75 for 108 rolls) a $15 discount may be taken as they will
both be shipped on one disk. The files can also be provided on floppy
disk or e-mailed if necessary.

Please write for a listing of titles for either or both CDs.

[ Jody is also experimenting with the 'Sound Blaster Live' product,
[ with good results. A fast computer definitely helps! Unlike
[ previous Blasters, it uses host system RAM to store the sound
[ fonts. The 'Blaster Live' supports up to 32 megabytes of font
[ samples, and so I'm looking forward to hearing Warren Trachtman's
[ latest Steinway fonts, sampled from pianissimo to fortissimo !
