Theatre Organs and Trains
By Hal Davis

When I was a little boy I wanted to be the one that drove the big
locomotive on the railroad, and I also had another dream of being
the one that played the big pipe organ in the movie theater.

Now I am a retired locomotive engineer, from the New York Central RR
Co., and also worked as an organist for Butterfield Theaters Inc. How
many of the rest of you have fulfilled your childhood dreams?

If you think I'm just tooting my whistle, that is true, for since
1983 I have been performing as a calliopist doing parades, fairs, solo
performances, and special events, on my own calliope.

It's called _fun_ if you enjoy it.

Hal Davis
