See the Web Sites, Hear the Sounds
By John Kleinbauer

Hi All. Are you stuck or glued in a rut? Has the summer heat made
you crazy? Well its time again to cruise the Internet for fun and
inspiration!

Site number one: World's Only Ceramic Barrel Organ -- Here is a man
who uses ceramic pipes in his barrel organ instead of wood. After the
page loads you will hear the organ. Gee! I wonder what type of glue
he uses?

Site number two: The Christchurch Town Hall Rieger Pipe Organ. This
site is listed purely for inspiration. If you click on the link below
you will come in on a page that will let you look at the organ being
built or to listen to it. This is a very well done site. You can
follow the organ going together month by month. If you work your way
back to the beginning of the site, you will find even more paths of
inspiration.

Site number three: This is a page about building a "mechanical organ"
(actual title). Ed Gaida sent me this one. Here you will find a site
that is just getting started. The reason Ed sent me to the site is so
I could see the valves used in a street organ. Ed is using similar
valves in an organ he is building.

Stay cool !
