Player Piano with 100-Hole Tracker Bar
By Bob Loesch

Hello, fellow MMDers. Yesterday, I came across a player piano in a shop
with an unusual (at least to me) tracker bar. Unfortunately, the piano
was being used as a display stand, so I couldn't open anything other
than the fallboard. There were no visible makers marks on any part I
could access.

The tracker bar was brass, 9 to the inch, and unremarkable, other than
the fact that it had a row of 100 holes, all normal size save the one
third from the left, which would most likely be for the sustain. This
hole was no wider, but was slightly 'taller' than the others.

I thought that it might be a Recordo, but there are no spoolbox labels
or controls anywhere that would support that idea. Can anyone out
there give me some idea of the maker, and what system it utilizes?

Regards,

Bob Loesch
