"Listenin' On Some Radio"
By Stan Rhine

A few days ago, Karl Ellison wrote about an Ampico roll, "Listenin'
on Some Radio." The same tune was also flogged by the Automatic Music
Company. It appears on H roll 759, which was probably released about
the middle of 1923.

Given the isochronicity of A, G & H roll production, it most likely also
appeared in those formats, somewhere around G-590 & A-700 as a wild
guess. No doubt it was also available in other orchestrion & coin
piano versions & was sold by numerous 88-note roll vendors.

How many people today could "name that tune?"

Albuquerque, New Mexico
