Event 5th June at Pianola Shop, Brighton UK
By Adam G. Ramet

Dear MMDers, Dave Dibley's Pianola Shop at Brighton UK just took
delivery of 250 further titles, the first 50 (Melotos, etc.) or so
of which will go on the shops' Internet site this week (I do their
web site and roll cataloguing!).

There are additionally 50+ original American rolls (QRS, Acme, US,
Regent, Imperial etc.), all song rolls with the best hot 20's jazz
and blues on them. Pete Wendling, Victor Arden, Jack Clyde, Charley
Straight, etc., are just some of the pianists.

On this coming Saturday (5th June) the shop is inviting anyone along
with an interest to pop down to the store from 2 PM to 5:30 PM to hear
them before the remainder go on general sale the following week. It's
a musical afternoon but naturally visitors get first pick of the rolls
at the end! There are some Duo-Art rolls, first pick of the uncataloged
150+ rolls and first pick of a few cases of popular and classical
unboxed rolls (at reduced price).

There's also a glass or three of wine, tea, cakes etc. We just thought
it would be a good idea and liven up our Saturday once in a while!
The piano playing all these rolls for the afternoon will be the Weber
Electric Duo-Art featured on the shops web site. If you fancy coming
just drop me an e-mail so we know numbers. The shop web site is:

Best regards!
