Musical Snuff Box
By Brian Chesters

Hello Adamsmill, I have an antique musical snuff box. It is in
playing condition and sounds absolutely beautiful. It plays two tunes,
one of which is the galop from William Tell overture.

It is in a black case with the lid impressed with a scene of three
French soldiers getting drunk and three others in the background.
The inscription reads "Je suis pris d la j'suis poitrinaire au francais
invetere le bon vin est assure". My French is naive, to say the least,
but perhaps Philippe Rouille can translate it for me.

It has the original tune sheet and a serial number (5872) and the
original key.
