Olson. He attended grade and high schools in Williston, ND. He con-
tinued his education at the University of North Dakota-Williston and
the University of Montana, where he majored in music.

Scott was an Eagle Scout. He had a lifelong interest in railroads and
was an avid model train collector. Scott was a very gifted musician
and played in many bands over the years.
During the past 20 years, Scott worked much of the time as an elec-
tronic and pipe organ technician. He also tuned pianos and was a
member of the Piano Technicians Guild.
Scott spent many hours with the Carousel for Missoula. He helped
supervise the construction of the pipe organ, installed it, tuned
it and maintained the organ until his death. He loved that organ.
He truly was the "Gaviman."
A memorial service for Scott will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 27, at Grace
United Methodist Church, 10th Street West and Garfield, with Dr. Glenn
Woodson officiating. Following the service, there will be a reception
