Organ Rally in Sierra Madre CA 3 July 1999
By Frank and Shirley Nix

Hi all: In response to Tom Grace, let me add my apologies for his
missing the Temecula Organ Rally. Tom has been at nearly all our
rallies in So. Calif., and it's a shame he had to miss this one.

As Robbie mentioned, though, this one was a spur of the moment
thing, and we really weren't sure until the very last minute that
it was really going to happen. It was very successful: the town of
Old Temecula seemed happy with us, and perhaps next year we will be
there again.

Our next rally out here will be July 3rd in Sierra Madre CA. We will
kick off the town's Fourth of July celebration (it goes on for all
three days this year). It is always a fun place for a rally. The
people are enthusiastic and appreciative of our music and our
instruments.

Let me suggest that anyone who is interested in the Rallies should
join AMICA. It costs $39 per year, and since I send out the local
newsletters, you would be sure of hearing about all our activities.
We have meetings every even-numbered month, and a convention somewhere
in the country. This year it's in Boston. AMICA International puts
out bulletins, too, and there is a lot of technical information
available. (That is Automatic Musical Instrument Collectors Assoc.)

E-mail me for more information. See you all in Sierra Madre.

Shirley Nix
