31-note Organ Scale
By Steve Walker

Was or is the common 31-note (Raffin, Pell, etc.) small hand cranked
organ scale punched in book format?

I would like to use the scale in a small organ and have it play from
books. I know it would be easier to use the rolls but I would really
like to build a book organ. If it was punched on books, what were the
specs: size of the book, hole size, and hole spacing?
