An informal organ rally will take place this weekend, 15 and 16 May
1999, in and about the Old Town Village of Temecula CA. Organ col-
lectors from the Los Angeles region attending include Frank & Shirley
Nix, and the group from San Diego will include the fair organs of
Charlie Porter, David Wasson and Mike Ames. Several smaller instru-
ments are expected to perform, too.
The music will play in Old Town Temecula from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday
15 May. Exit freeway I-15 at Rancho California Road, Temecula, go west
one or two blocks and turn south on Front Street to Old Town Temecula.
On Sunday 16 May, from 10 AM to 4 PM, the event will either continue
in Old Town Temecula, or else the music will move to Van Gaale's Dutch
Village, about five miles east of Temecula.
From Northbound I-15 exit Winchester Road, travel northeast about 5
miles to Benton Road. From Southbound I-215 or I-15, exit Murrietta Hot
Springs Road, travel east about 3 miles to Winchester Road, turn left
onto Winchester Road, go past 2 or 3 streets to Benton Road. There is
a sign there saying "Antiques". Turn right onto Benton Road and follow
the signs to Dutch Mill Trading Company and Van Gaale's Dutch Village.
You'll see the big Dutch windmill with 75-foot blades !
The two-day event is organized by Dutch Mill Trading Company and Henk
van Gaale in cooperation with So. Calif. AMICA and MBSI chapters. For
further details telephone Frank Nix at 818-884-6849, or Henk van Gaale
