I've just called the Westin-Waltham hotel (1-800-WESTIN-1), and
learned that the AMICA convention's room rates are $95/night, as
opposed to their regular $189/night rates.  You get all the big-city
hotel amenities with this room, many of which you won't use anyway.

At this bargain price, I've decided to camp out there instead of com-
muting daily from Salem, and have booked a room. I suggest you consider
the same, as the bed & breakfast rates in Boston will be competitive.
Wouldn't you rather be fraternizing until all hours at the convention
instead of trying to find a cab?  ;)   See you there!
