Seeburg G Pipes
By Don Teach

Just for the record. My opinion is that Seeburg never made a Seeburg
"G" with two ranks of flute pipes. All their advertising indicates
that the "G" came with one rank of violin pipes and one rank of flute
pipes.

The one "G" that was mentioned in a previous MMD has had many
questions raised as to its originality, having had two ranks of flute
pipes. I understand it really sounded "sweet", and perhaps Seeburg
should have offered this option, but as to date no Seeburg known in
collectors hands (H or J or G or L) has two ranks of the same pipes
other than the one previously mentioned.
