[ A rough indicator of the market value of mechanical musical
[ instruments is the closing price at the eBay auction. I don't
[ want to put every auction announcement in MMD, because I believe
[ that the folks who _want_ to buy are already watching the auctions.
[ But the price paid is news, and I welcome reports on the closing
[ prices at auctions. Dan Caulfield reports here about a price which
[ is too high, so now we know what it _isn't_ worth! -- Robbie
Hi Robbie, No one bid on this organ; there was a opening reserve
price of $14,000. It did not sell.
> Item #93891647 Wurlitzer style 120 band organ, circa 1900, activated
