I have searched the archives, and can't quite get my questions
answered. If this subject has been beaten to death, feel free to
e-mail answers to me directly.
Since my Cable Euphona was built in a town very near to where I live,
the local player piano shop has told me that there is a market for CD's
made from my piano. I have the ability to make professional audio
recordings from my piano, both analog and digital, and I would like to
make a CD available soon, but only if it can be done legally.
I have found the Henry French web page, and am aware of royalties that
need to be paid to the artists. But what about the roll manufacturer?
What about roll companies that are out of business? I am sure that
I am missing something.
I would like to help in the preservation of the sound of these great
instruments, along with spreading the enjoyment to those who are not
lucky enough to own their own.
Any help is appreciated.
