58-note Roll Re-cutting Project
By Bob Loesch

Welcome, Luke!

I'd like to find out about this, too, as I've an Aeolian Orchestrelle
which plays either 58-note or 65-note rolls. Does your Grand play
65-note rolls as well?

Someone should contact whomever they can from the former AMR company,
as about 10 years ago, I bought a couple of dozen new pin-end spool
ends that they had made up. Somebody, somewhere has the molds and the
capability to recreate those. They were a simple molding, with the
pins molded of plastic, and the 'blade'/bar/whatever was a piece of
flat metal molded into the plastic. They work great, but I'm beginning
to run low and would like to get some more.

I'd like a few photos of the spoolbox transmission, as mine was in a
basket when I got it, and I'm quite sure that some parts were missing
or are incorrect. Thanks for the offer!

Regards,
