Installing Rubber Tubing on Tracker Bar
By Bruce Clark

I would use caution in using any rubber tubing lubricant.

Larry Mangus was my assistant on the first Ampico we rebuilt. He got
an idea to use some sort of rubber lubricant for automotive use. The
tubing went on nicely. However in about a year, every tube that had
been lubricated cracked and fell off!

Since that time, I have not used any lubricant at all. If the size
is right, the tubes slip on without any problems.
