I have been playing the piano for about two years; it is one that
I bought for $25 dollars and restored to playability with help from
a local tuner and valuable input from MMDigest members.
My daughter is in the 5th grade and is learning the flute in band.
I have been trying off and on for the past few months to find sheet
music for her of the Chicago song, "Colour My World", arranged for
piano and flute, with no success. I can find it arranged for piano
and vocals, but I am not "musical" enough to determine the flute part.
My daughter and I both like this song, and it sounds simple enough for
our limited playing ability. My daughter's band teacher has asked if
we might be interested in playing a duo of some sort at one of next
years school concerts (No Pressure, Ha!!), and I think this song would
be a good choice.
If any list members have this sheet music, or know who sells it,
I would be most appreciative if you could help me. I have checked
several of the "on-line" stores to no avail.
Thank You
Mike Haydon
[ Try the simple piano-and-vocal version, Mike. The concert flute
[ doesn't need a transposed arrangement like a clarinet or sax does.
[ The flute simply plays the vocal part. (Your daughter will know! ;)
