I have recently transcribed Automatic Music Roll Company's roll
No. 1146, which contains ten selections from 1925. This is an
"A" roll, intended for use with an orchestrion.
Any subscriber to the MMD who would like a copy of the roll image,
and the tools for examining it, is welcome to a complimentary copy.
My hope is that others will be able to build on my work and discover
something new, and thereby contribute to the ongoing discussion of
standards and practices of roll making of the 1920s.

[ Historian Dave Junchen wrote in Bower's Enclycopedia that Automatic
