I've received an enquiry from the proud owner of a Kimball Electramatic
player, serial number S29775.  The instrument is thought to be approx-
imately twenty years old.

Unfortunately, the roll transport mechanism has ceased to function,
presumably due to the demise of the drive motor or associated gears.
Attempts to obtain spares from the manufacturer have been unsuccessful
and in any case, I would imagine that this model has been obsolete for
some years now.

I wonder whether any MMDers are able to assist?  If so, please contact
the enquirer and copy any relevant information to the Digest.
