In tracking down the cause of a sluggish rewind pneumatic, it was
not possible to see the control valve. The piano is a late model
Chickering B, and plays unusually well, until it is asked to rewind!
In spite of an older, first-class rebuild, the belly cloth is cracking
and splitting. Some access panels are wood, unlike most Ampico A's
I've seen. So instead of removing panels, I delayed further investi-
gation until I can locate the faulty valve. If anyone can guide me to
a book or diagram I'd be most appreciative.
