Good Afternoon! One of the advantages of the Internet is its
connectivity, and I notice that most of the mechanical music sites
I visit have several lists of related links to enable an interested
visitors to continue on in their trek for interesting information.
Knowing that you have an interest in mechanical music, I thought that
you would be interested in the recent establishment of a "Ring" devoted
to Crank Organs. The operation of a ring is simple: a visitor to any
site which is a member of the ring is presented with the option to
proceed forward or backward to other members of the ring, or to view a
list of ring members. In this way, a large number of related sites are
"connected".
So, I recently established "The Crank Organ Ring" to provide easy
access to web sites dealing with roller organs, crank organs, organ-
ettes, paper roll or disc organs, barrel organs, monkey organs, or any
type of hand operated mechanical reed or pipe organ. The Crank Organ
Ring is a FREE service provided for the benefit of the community, of
course, and the only obligation the members have is to place the small
section of HTML code (which makes the link) into their web site. The
member may, of course, edit or remove his listing at any time.
If you have interest in becoming a member, and your web site fits the
broad category of "crank organ" listed above, let's link! For details,
see the description at:
