Robbie, You had to put in that part about warm, sunny California?
We have had a gray winter: rain, rain, and more rain, and record snow
levels in the mountains.
The carousel is doing fine -- a wedding reception was held there last
Saturday night. Isn't that appropriate for the "wedding carousel"?!
About the Carousel Tech. Conference -- we are part of it. As they say,
"you can't get there from here" or, at least, going "through here".
Spokane will host travelers Thursday evening with no-host pizza and
Friday morning with a continental breakfast. Shouldn't every rest-stop
have a merry-go-round and a Ruth organ?
The conference begins officially in Missoula Friday evening, April
30th, finishing up Sunday, May 2, l999.
On reference to dates: 30 days have September, April, June and November.
All the rest have 31 except Grandmother, who drives a Buick.

[ Bette is the "boss lady" at the Carousel in the Park in Spokane, WA;
[ she led the campaign for the succesful restoration of the Looff
[ carusel and the recent overhaul of the 1906 Ruth band organ.
[
[ From MAD Magazine, many _many_ years ago:
[
[ Thirty days hath April, June, and no wonder
[ All the rest are peanut butter
[ Except my Grandmother
[ And she drives a little red tricycle."
