Steinway Duo-Art Damaged by Consignee
By Don Teach

If my piano was damaged by a reputable piano company they would repair
it. I personally would never consign a piano to any music store.

A Duo-Art is a collectors piece which very few music stores would know
how to sell. Very few movers know how to move one with the stack and
other parts subject to damage. Talk to the owner of the company and
try to get results that way before you have a lawyer cost both of you
money. One more reason I don't take consigned pianos.
