A couple of years ago I used a colleague's computer at lunch times
to tidy up scans of a range of U.K. Aeolian Co. roll box labels and a
companion set of Orchestrelle Co. labels. It took a lot of lunch times.
Since then I've done some U.S. Angelus Artistyle labels, and this job
was made much easier because Bob and Sonja Lemon very kindly sent me a
scan of the Wilcox and White logo, which is in the background of those
labels.
Now I feel an urge to tackle the U.S. Aeolian Metrostyle-Themodist
labels. However, the U.S. Aeolian Co. logo is rather more florid than
its British counterpart, and the Aeolian harps all round the border
look different too. Of course I can scan some of my small number of
U.S. rolls but it's a pain trying to pick out the faint red logo from
behind the heavy black type on top of it.
Does anybody have a sample of the U.S. Aeolian logo by itself and would
they be willing to mail me a photocopy or email me a scan or whatever?
Naturally I'll be happy to pay for any costs involved in this.

[ I've never seen the harps around the border which you describe,
[ John. Do you have a web site where we can see some of these images?
