Value of Symphonion Crank and 13-1/2 Inch Disks
By Alan Fox

In a previous MMD article, Wayne Fox inquired about the value of the
subject Symphonion components. A replacement Symphonion crank of the
correct size would be difficult to find, and I suspect would sell for
$125-150. A reproduction crank could be made for approximately the
same cost.

Disk prices vary, according to condition and tune title (Christmas
songs are very collectible). Generally, for this size disk, one would
expect to pay $20. for an original. Barry Johnson (Mountain View, CA)
sells repro disks for this size Symphonion for $35.

Hopefully helpful,

Alan Fox
