I enjoy the newsletter but must plead ignorance regarding player
or "reproducing" pianos, but my wife has discovered one locally and
I promised to investigate it for her.
This a Conway Upright, electrified, playing 88-note QRS rolls. I could
not find a model number unless it is 39B which is stamped on the case
in several places. The piano appears to be in good operating condition,
although obviously in need of cleaning and tuning.
The dealer wants $1250 for the piano and I would appreciate any advice
on whether this is a fair asking price or if we would perhaps be making
an unwise investment in time, money, and valuable "Music Room" space.
Any advice will be appreciated, please be kind.
