Hi All,  I know some of you might get a little tired of hearing about
the Player Piano Ring, but it has really helped some of the more
obscure web sites related to player pianos, and over 15,000 people have
already used the ring's features since September 1998.  So, it's working.

I'm prompted to write today because the largest roll company in the
world, QRS Music Technologies, has submitted a request to join the PPR.
Naturally, the request has been approved.  As soon as the HTML fragment
is installed, they will become an important member of the PPR.

Many of you may not be aware of the changes going on behind the scenes
at QRS.  Like many companies, they are streamlining their operations to
maximize profits for their stock holders.  As a result, their main
offices are now located in Florida.  From there, they handle all the
operations of the Pianomation division, the Story & Clark division and
the QRS Music Rolls division.

As a long time dealer for QRS, I'm very pleased with these changes and
feel confident that QRS will continue to profit in the player piano
world for many years to come.  Increasing their exposure even further,
QRS now offers a links page for all QRS dealers and others associated
with player pianos.  Drop by their site and get linked.

Player-Care is always on the lookout for player piano related sites.
If you know of, or have such a site, please contact me.  When you're
part of a niche industry like player pianos, it just isn't wise to
stand alone.  Join one of the groups of rebuilders and/or technicians.
You'll be glad you did.

In closing, a number of technicians and dealers have already sent in
their yearly dues ($10.00/yr.) to maintain their technicians listing at
Player-Care.  Since the payment due notices won't be sent out until
April 1, 1999, those who have prepaid their accounts will get an extra
6 months of exposure for free.  This is my way of saying 'Thank-you'

web site on the net devoted to player pianos.
