Tracker Bar Cleaning
By John Farrell

For years I have been using a household vacuum cleaner to clear
my tracker bar; the advantages over a regular tracker bar pump are
improved speed, greater efficiency and no aching arms.

Now a doom-merchant has told me that my method could be wreaking
serious damage to the innards of my player -- is that true? After
many Hoover-wielding years I can detect no signs of failure, but am
I deluding myself? Am I really reducing the works of my trusty Steck
to matchwood?
