I had the pleasure of working for Pacific Piano Supply Co. in the
1970's. They were known for high quality in their parts, workmanship,
and ethics. They still are! I talked to great people who visited PPSC
in those days, including Don Rand, J. Lawrence Cook (who was here for
the AMICA Convention in 1972), and Elton John.
The grand gentleman, W. D. (Don) Morton, founder of the company, still
works in the shop and goes out to tune pianos (including mine last
August). Don is going great guns at 84 years young! His sons, Randy
and Rob, now handle most of the company management. These are fine
people who I recommend highly. I value my past and continuing
relationship with them.

[ Don Morton proudly showed me the perorator he built for Aeolian

[ assisted by Bill Elliot, the son of P.O.P. roll artist Vern Elliot.
